Privacy Policy

Effective 19 August 2026

Your record belongs to you and it lives on your phone. There is no account, no login, and no profile. We do not know who you are, what unit you're in, or what you wrote.

No government affiliation

These apps are not developed, funded, endorsed, supported, authorized, or approved by the U.S. Department of Defense — also referred to as the Department of War — or by any branch of the United States Armed Forces.

No official affiliation of any kind exists with the Department of the Air Force, the Department of the Army, the Department of the Navy, the United States Marine Corps, the United States Space Force, the United States Coast Guard, or any other government agency, component, or command.

Blue Ridge Digital LLC is a private company. These are independent commercial products built by a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant. Any reference to a service, rank, evaluation form, or military term is descriptive only and identifies who the tool is for — not who made it or who stands behind it.

This policy covers six apps published by Blue Ridge Digital LLC:

Statement Writercom.statementwriter.app
NCOER Writercom.ncoerwriter.app
EVAL Writercom.evalwriter.app
EPR Writercom.eprwriter.app
FITREP Writercom.fitrepwriter.app
EER Writercom.eerwriter.app

What stays on your device

Everything you enter — accomplishments, notes, drafts, finished statements, and your PIN — is stored on your device. It is not uploaded to us, backed up to our servers, or synced to any account, because there is no account.

Your PIN and biometric setting are held in the device's secure storage. Face ID and Touch ID are handled entirely by Apple; the app is told only whether the unlock succeeded and never receives your biometric data.

What leaves your device

AI writing features

When you ask the app to turn what you wrote into a statement or bullet, the text you submitted is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service, which passes it to a third-party AI provider to generate the response. The response comes back and is stored on your device.

We do not store your text, and no name, email, account, device identifier, or location is attached to the request. The AI provider may retain submitted text for a limited period under their own terms and for their own safety monitoring. If you never use the AI features, none of your writing ever leaves your phone.

Voice input

Speaking instead of typing uses your device's built-in speech recognition. On iOS this is Apple's Speech framework, which may process audio on Apple's servers depending on your device and settings. That audio is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We never receive or store your recordings.

Crash reports

If crash reporting is active in the version you have installed, a report may be sent when the app crashes. It contains technical information about the failure — device model, operating system version, and where in the code the error occurred. It does not contain what you wrote.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your name, payment card, or billing address. We are told only whether a subscription is active.

App updates

The app may check for updates. That check reveals the app version and platform. It carries none of your content.

The camera

The camera is used for one thing: scanning a QR code when statements are handed between a member and a supervisor. No photograph is taken, stored, or transmitted. Photo library permission is declared only because the scanning component requires it and so you can save an export you asked for.

What we never collect

We do not use advertising. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, and there is no data of yours held by us to sell.

Important — operational security

Do not enter classified, controlled unclassified (CUI), or operationally sensitive information into these apps. They are commercial consumer software running on a personal device and are not accredited for any level of government information.

Write about what you did in terms you would use in an unclassified evaluation. If a detail would not go in the form itself, it does not belong here either.

Names, forms, and trademarks

Terms such as EPR, NCOER, EVAL, and the names of the military services are used descriptively, to identify the audience each app is built for. They remain the property of their respective owners. Their use here does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or any relationship with the organizations that own them — see the notice at the top of this page.

These apps do not reproduce official government forms, do not submit anything to any government system, and are not a system of record. Whatever you produce with them is yours to review, edit, and enter into official channels yourself.

Your control

Delete any entry inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device permanently — and because we hold nothing, there is nothing left anywhere else. There is no account to close and no deletion request to file.

Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. We cannot see or change your subscription.

Children

These apps are built for serving military members and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting how your information is handled will also be noted in the app's release notes.
